The other day I was over at my mentor David Henry Sterry's house and he made me a steamy cup of his special tea with lots of fresh lemon and little bits of ginger to chew on. A friend of his works at a bakery and he offered me an assortment of baked goods to pair with the tea. David's favorite was the sweet Brazilian bread a sort of French toast that tasted like a piece of thick sour dough slice of bread dipped in honey, sugar, and cinnamon. He didn't know the official name and I thought I would ask you, does anybody know anything about this mysterious yet delicious Brazilian treat? Please let me know!
